The clash between Manchester City and Everton was expected to be a show-stopper, and neither team disappointed.
While Wayne Rooney joined the 200-goal club with his first half strike, the good news for the Sky Blues came via Raheem Sterling's late equalizer, as the former Red punished the Toffees' poor attempt to clear the ball from their box and sent a thunderbolt into Jordan Pickford's net.
This was a special goal for Sterling, as it was the first one he's been able to score against Everton .

But it wasn't all happiness for the Citizens, as Pep Guardiola will still be looking to secure his first win against Everton. In fact, the Catalan manager seems to be under a spell when he faces the Toffees.
Everton are the first club that Pep Guardiola has failed to beat in his first 3 league games as a manager.
