You would expect a majority of fans to sit back and save their voices for Sounder's next MLS fixture against Atlanta United at home, but that did not happen.

And one particular factor that could not be ignored was the presence of a huge number of fans of the Mexican outfit donning red and white regalia to represent the Liga MX club. The political tension between the two countries, however, did not come to play in the stands as the fans freely mingled with each other and rallied behind their beloved clubs. Well, it was just another evening of beautiful soccer and most importantly, it was game that once again showed how soccer unifies the world regardless of race, religion or political affiliation.
