According to the Daily Star, the Special One is keen on adding Willian to his Old Trafford lineup. He will face a tough battle prising him from the Blues due to the four-year Chelsea deal the player signed in July, but the Portuguese tactician is plotting a bid nonetheless.
The Brazilian was influential in Chelsea’s title-winning season of 14/15 as well as they abysmal league crown defense the following season. As a result, Jose is fond of the midfielder, but must part with large sums of money in order to land him.
According to the report, the Red Devils must part with £40m if they wish to land Willian. A bid in January is most likely.
