He may have scored the fastest goal for PSG in UEFA Champions League history, but fans can't forgive him for wasting more chances afterwards.
Edinson Cavani saw the two sides of the coin when he was praised by scoring a goal for Les Parisiens after 42 seconds, giving Unai Emery's team the lead against Arsenal. Nevertheless, the team couldn't build upon that lead and ended up conceding a late goal by Alexis Sánchez, good enough to watch the Gunners snatch a point away from Parc Des Princes.
The Uruguayan ace took the blame for the team's failure to win, since the player bottled at least four clear chances of adding to his first-minute goal.
Here's what fans and experts had to say about his performance.
#arsenal fortunate that Cavani didnt have his shooting boots on but credit to them for staying in it and taking their chance

Arsenal's Man of the Match was definitely Cavani.

Man gotta be in the changing room looking at Cavani like

We need to keep Higuaín and Cavani away from being on the same pitch at the same time on a final, or something really bad will happen.

Cavani bottling it in a big game again. Van Gaal got little right at United but he was right to kill off interest in Cavani.
