Jamie Vardy could be an Arsenal player in the ‘next two days’ according to a report published by Goal. This comes barely a day after Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri had confirmed that the North Londoners were indeed interested in signing the 29-year-old, who was named the Football Writers Player of the Year after steering the Foxes to their first-ever Premier League title.
Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez battles it out with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy on September 26, 2015 at the King Power Stadium.Speaking to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport (as per Goal), the Italian boss said the rumors about Arsene Wenger’s interest in their key man were ''all true.’’
The report also claims that Jamie Vardy’s England teammate Jack Wilshere played a huge role in convincing him to cross from the King Power Stadium to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have reportedly reached the 20 million pound asking price for the lethal forward, who scored 24 goals in 36 league appearances for the defending champions, one behind top scorer Harry Kane.
If the deal goes through, he would become Arsenal’s second signing after Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Following the announcement of his imminent arrival at the Emirates Stadium, football fans took to Twitter to air their opinions:

Aggression, pressing, pens, play in a 2, left or right of a 3.#LCFC will be ok, might sting for a month.
Ok, so Vardy scored all 3 goals against @Arsenal in the 7-3 PL game and we meet his clause. 7-0 then. #smart

So we're all in agreement that Jamie Vardy to @Arsenal makes pretty much no sense? Not the player they need.

If Arsenal complete the Vardy deal, that'll be £50m spent. Lessons being learnt. They're going for it. Crack open the war chests.
