The new titleholders Leicester City hosts Everton this Saturday at the King Power Stadium for the 37th matchday of the English Premier League.

After Tottenham Hotspur’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Monday, Leicester City were crowned the champions of England, as it has become mathematically impossible for the Spurs to catch up to Ranieri's men. The home side will enter this match with complete confidence, hoping to score goals for fun and end their fairytale story on a positive note. Nonetheless, the party has already begun for Vardy and Co, as they will be presented with the trophy after full-time, giving the Foxes the chance to celebrate with their fans.

Meanwhile, Everton(44) has been struggling to find a good form, as they have only won once in their last seven league appearances. Regardless, the 11th place contenders will be hoping they can steal three points from the Foxes, as they aim to win their remaining league fixtures.

Team news - who's fit and who's not?

Claudio Ranieri will be pleased with the return of striker Jaime Vardy after he was suspended due to his improper conduct during the action-packed match between West Ham back in mid-April. However, Leicester will be without midfielder Danny Drinkwater after the English international was sent-off in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United. Defender Robert Huth will also miss out on this match due to his three-game suspension for pulling the hair of Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini.

Everton will be without defender Funes Mori due to a suspension while defender Brendan Galloway and striker Gerard Deulofeu will also be sidelined due to their knee injuries. The Blues' Gareth Barry (hamstring) and Seamus Coleman (groin) are also set to miss this league fixture.

Head to head:

  • In the last six matches played between Leicester City and Everton, both teams have managed to score an average of 3.5 goals per match

  • Leicester City have only won twice in their last six matches in all competitions against Everton

  • Roberto Martínez’s crew have scored five goals in their last three visits at the King Power Stadium

  • In their last three home matches, the hosts have scored four goals against Everton
