Two of the most interesting sides to watch in the FIFA U-20 World Cup will fight for a place in the semi-finals. USA and Serbia get to this match with nothing to lose, but yet with lots of glory to achieve.
The American side is one of the tournament's surprises, given their previous participations in this kind of scenario were not as satisfying. This time, the stars and stripes made it through the group stage despite losing their last game against Ukraine, but they pulled together and defeated one of the top contenders to win the tournament: none other than Colombia. Rubio Rubin's goal gave the Americans the chance to fight for the semis, and they will try to make the most out of this opportunity.
On the other side of the pitch, Serbia has shown their credentials in every game they've played so far. With a tough defense as their trademark, the Serbs have conceded only twice in the tournament, which has made them progress with each game that goes by. After a 1-0 loss to Uruguay in the group stage, the Europeans managed to start a winning streak that included victories over Mali(2-0), Mexico (2-0) and Hungary(2-1). The Balcanic side will depend mostly on what Andrija Zivkovic can do, being a key performer for most of the tournament, even scoring a wonderful goal against Mexico.
