Last time they met was in 2011 and El Tri won 3-1. Paraguay has only won one game out of its last five.

With a goal from Javier Hernandez, Mexico started its 2015 campaign with a 1-0 win against Ecuador. Now they will face Paraguay this Tuesday at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Both teams will reunite for the first time since 2011.

Back then, in Oakland, California, El Tri won 3-1 and Jose Manuel de la Torre was the manager for Mexico. Now, the team is under Miguel Herrera's guidance and they have only lost once in their last five matches. Paraguay, managed by Ramon Diaz, has not figured out a way to win in the same time-span.

Jose de Jesus Corona was back as the goalkeeper for Mexico. The man from Cruz Azul kept a clean sheet throughout the game with some big saves, including a blocked penalty kick. Now that Ochoa had to go back to Europe for the birth of his son, Corona will start again against Paraguay.

Besides Ochoa, Andres Guardado from PSV Eindhoven also made the trip back to Europe after their game in Los Angeles for the same reason. Hector Herrera went back to Portugal and has reported for duty with Porto. Miguel Layun has done so with Watford in England. Jesus Manuel Corona also went back with an injury.

So the team that El Piojo will use against Paraguay will have several changes to the one he presented on Saturday. His biggest concerns might be on defense, where there doesn't seem to be a true leader in that position after Rafael Marquez left the team.

Diaz from Paraguay may want to take advantage of that certain weakness in Mexico's squad. Edgar Benitez, Lucas Barrios and Raul Bobadilla could be the ones in charge of creating problems for El Tri's defensive unit. They just played a hard match in Costa Rica where they came out with a scoreless draw.

Many of Paraguay's players are playing with teams from Liga MX. Paulo da Silva from Toluca headlines that list. Benitez, also from Toluca is on that list. Miguel Samudio from América may also have an idea of what's coming for his team.

This is scheduled to be the last game for both teams prior to the Copa America in Chile this summer. If the players want a spot on the roster for that tournament, this is their last chance to shine.
