Reports claim that the German star has declined to move forward with a new contract at Dortmund, putting several sides on high alert.

Despite missing out on the World Cup due to an unfortunate injury, Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus is still one player that legions of clubs are keen on signing.

The 25-year-old has quickly garnered the attention of teams in both England and Spain due to his pace and trickery and has grown into an instrumental player for die Schwarzgelben since his arrival in January 2012.

However, after their solid runs during the 2012/2013 season that saw them make it all the way to the Champions League final and then a decent showing last campaign, Dortmund have struggled so far in the Bundesliga and have just won two out of their nine league fixtures.

Even more disconcerting to their fans is the fact that Jurgen Klopp's men have earned just seven points and currently are precariously close to the relegation zone.  As a result, Reus, who saw his teammates Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski depart for rivals Bayern Munich in successive seasons, could be keen on making a move of his own.

Reports indicate that the German international has again stalled on signing an improved contract and Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all circling with £32 million being the amount named to acquire his services.

Furthermore Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc indicated that the club's priority has now shifted to trying to revive their struggling season:

"Nothing has changed about our intentions to continue our collaboration with Marco, but our current situation demands full focus from everyone.

"[Simply put], our biggest priority at the moment is to get out of this difficult situation. Everything else comes after that for now."
