The Mexican midfielder stated after yesterday's match against Guadalajara that the current boss is not capable of giving Chivas what they need to avoid relegation

Mexican legend Cuauhtemoc Blanco ignited controversy after yesterday's match against Chivas. The 41-year old star, living his final days as an active player, blasted Chivas coach Carlos Bustos, since Blanco thinks the coach doesn't have what it takes to lead a club such as Guadalajara:

"If you look at how they played today, then they should consider removing their coach.Their playing style is not the one you would expect from a team such as Guadalajara," Blanco told reporters.

Blanco, considered the best player to come out of Club America, thinks Chivas' supporters should encourage their team even if they are not delivering on the pitch, but he blames Guadalajara's owner Jorge Vergara of their current relegation predicament:

"Well, you should ask their owner. You have to make him responsible of not investing more time on developing players or in getting some from other teams. Honestly, it makes me sad to see that the fans have abandoned the team, and not just this season, but for many years. I remember years ago the stadium would be packed, but now there are lots of empty seats here," Blanco added.

Blanco's Puebla remain two points below Chivas in the relegation standings, but have not lost any of their last four matches. Rumors indicate Chivas would sack their coach this week to bring in Spanish boss Pepe Mel, who previously managed Betis and West Brom.
