Two goals in less than ten minutes were enough for the Red Devils to hold their ground despite Manchester City's late surge.

It has been a shocking FA Cup edition, where Manchester City were named as major favorites but ended up walking out empty-handed due to Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho's goals.

The club led -still- by Erik Ten Hag had some of its top players stepping up to win this key clash, and Garnacho did not waste the chance to put his name along some of the top footballers in Manchester United's history by sealing their FA Cup win with a goal that came minutes before the break.

That goal was key to end an eight-year drought in this competition for Manchester United, who had failed to win the FA Cup since 2016.

If that was not a valid reason to celebrate, Garnacho found one of his own with his goal against Manchester City.

This win will allow Manchester United to play in next season's UEFA Europa League, and some believe it will be the start of something new with a potential replacement for Erik Ten Hag coming. Luckily for the incoming coach, he will have some good foundations to build up on with Mainoo and Garnacho around.
