Bayern Munich snatched their second major silverware of the season, as they beat Borussia Dortmund on penalties to claim the German cup.

This was Guardiola's final challenge as the German club's boss before heading to the Etihad Stadium to take the reigns of Manchester City for the next season.

After the Bavarians bagged another trophy under the leadership of Pep Guardiola, the former Barcelona coach burst into tears and striker Thomas Muller completely understands his emotions.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, the 26-year old ace valued the importance of the boss that has led his side to three consecutive Bundesliga titles.

"I am glad for Pep, when the last game is over, you can sometimes be human because you're not responsible for the team and the pressure is off.

"He leaves the club after we achieved a major goal of the season. His work here has been less valued by those outside the club and he knew it. That's why there was this emotional outburst and I can understand it.

Take a look at Pep's emotional celebration following his second DFB-Pokal trophy win in his three year spell at the Allianz Arena."

Now the question remains if the Spaniard can continue his success with the Sky Blues in the upcoming campaign.
