Over Druha Liga

Druha Liga geschiedenis, opzet, organisatie, media-aandacht

De Oekraïense Tweede Liga is het derde niveau van het Oekraïense voetbalsysteem, opgericht in 1992 als de Overgangsliga en het volgende seizoen van naam veranderd. Het is het laagste niveau van professionele voetbalcompetities in het land. Sinds 1996, na een fusie met het lagere niveau (tussen 1992 en 1995 bestond er een Derde Liga), bestaat de competitie uit twee hoofdregio's: grofweg noordwest en zuidoost. De teams die degraderen uit de liga verliezen hun professionele status en keren terug naar hun regionale verenigingen.
