AzamTV owns the exclusive broadcast rights in East Africa for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The pay-TV platform announced its deal with FIFA in May 2026, and it includes the full rights to all 104 matches from the tournament, including the World Cup final on Sunday, 19 July at MetLife Stadium.
Specifically, AzamTV’s 2026 World Cup broadcast deal covers Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Botswana, Zambia, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Azam TV holds non-exclusive rights to broadcast La Liga in Botswana, Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The deal between the Sub-Saharan pay-TV platform and La Liga came into effect in 2024 and runs until the end of he 2028-29 season.
La Liga coverage on Azam TV is spread across the platform’s four sports linear TV channels, and it isn’t limited to just live matches.
