China Media Group (CMG) own the exclusive broadcast rights in China for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The state-owned media company has the rights to show all 104 matches from the tournament live on free-to-air television in China, in a deal that is said to be $60m.
As part of the agreement between CMG and FIFA, the media group will also broadcast the 2027 Women’s World Cup, the 2030 World Cup in Portugal, Spain and Morocco, and the 2031 Women’s World Cup.
