Nuri Sahin believes that he has made the perfect move of being a better footballer by joining Spanish giants, Real Madrid
Real Madrid confirmed that they have reached an agreement to sign Nuri Sahin from Borussia Dortmund earlier this week and now Sahin has praised his new employers by insisting that Madrid is the perfect place for a footballer to develop himself.
"When the offer came from Madrid, I began to think. Real is the highest achievement for a footballer. Real is like a myth. Everyone wants to go there, but not everyone is allowed to play for Real.
"I want Borussia Dortmund, the Bundesliga, Germany, and Turkey to be well represented in Madrid."
Sahin is already earning his reputation among Madrid fans after he dismissed statements about Real Madrid playing negative football.
"I cannot understand that Real's style of play is sometimes criticized. This weekend I watched the 6-2 [win] against Sevilla on TV - that was very nice, attractive football.
"Real score an incredible number of goals and there really is nothing more attractive than goals. I think they deserved their cup final win against Barcelona."
