The German boss did not hold back when the Reds scored the goal that capped their comeback against Bournemouth.

Love him or hate him, but Jurgen Klopp will always have everyone talking about what he does on the touchline.

The German boss had a busy day at Anfield. First, he demanded VAR referees to deny Bournemouth the opening goal due to a foul before Callum Wilson found the back of the net. Then, he led his team back to winning ways with a furious comeback to end a two-game losing streak in all comps. But while doing so, one gesture by the German tactician sparked controversy and criticism against him.

Klopp was in high spirits when Sadio Mané scored Liverpool's second goal, and after bumping chests with one of his assistants, he seemed to scream in the face of the linesman that was just passing by. Have a look at his gesture to see what we're talking about (Image might be geo-restricted).

Klopp's reaction sparked criticism form non-Liverpool fans, mainly because they feel Klopp has carte blanche to do whatever he wants on the touchline. Some even compared Klopp's gesture to Carlo Ancelotti's last week, which ended in a red card for the Italian manager.

Speaking after the game, Klopp admitted that his reaction after Bournemouth's goal was uncalled for, but he did not mention the incident we discussed above.

"I did it. Now I wouldn't do it. But how is that possible that someone looks at it and doesn't do anything about it. VAR hides behind the phrase, not clear and obvious. It makes no sense," Klopp said.

Now, Liverpool will face Atlético in a bid to come back from their one-nil loss in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie. And yes, we can expect more of those reactions from Klopp in that game.
