Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta has delivered a message of support to his countrymen Fernando Torres by backing him to start finding the net soon
Fernando Torres has barely made any impact at Chelsea since his big money move from Liverpool, not scoring a single goal despite already going into his third month at Stamford Bridge. However, Iniesta has praised El Nino by stating that it is only a matter of time before the Spaniard explodes into goal-scoring form at Chelsea.

Iniesta said: "Fernando is doing really well. It's clear that strikers live to score, but in Granada he gave us plenty of things which people don't see such as hard work, helping defend and allowing others the space to play.

"He does work which is not noticed, but it is very fundamental for the team.

"As for the goals, I think it's only a matter of time. He has always scored and he will continue doing so and therefore there are no problems."

Torres also failed to find the net in Spain's 2-1 win over the Czech Republic as his counterpart David Villa became Spain's all time top goal scorer. While it is important for a striker to have good compatibility with their teammates, goals are a fundamental part of them. Therefore, the pressure on Torres would only reside once he starts scoring.
