Barcelona's execs kept the good news coming for their fans, as the club announced that Ivan Rakitic will keep playing with Los Blaugranas until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
The midfielder, who was tempted by several EPL teams back in December, decided to extend his contract with Los Blaugranas following the epic comeback against PSG, which saw the current La Liga champions through to the UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals.
The club revealed the news via a press release.
"FC Barcelona has announced that it has reached an agreement with Ivan Rakitic to extend his contract through to 30 June 2021. The buyout clause will be set at 125 million euros,"an excerpt of the press release informs.
