Carlo Ancelotti has some surprises in store for the start of the game against Almeria where Keylor Navas and Jese will have the opportunity to start the match. Both players have had limited playing time this season but don't seem to be at risk of leaving the club anytime soon.

That same game was the last one in which Navas stood in for Iker Casillas. The former goalkeeper from Levante has had positive numbers this season despite not having played many games. This will be his tenth start of the season and in his last two games no one has been able to get past him.
The decision was announced in Madrid's latest press conference

All of the games he has played in La Liga have been at home. In his first two games against Elche and Rayo Vallecano Navas only allowed one goal per game while his team scored five in each match. Carlo Ancelotti says there is no relation between giving the Costa Rican player a chance and it being at home.
"There is no reason why it is always at the Bernabéu. I haven't thought about whether the game was at the Bernabéu or away,"
Navas and CH14 live somewhat similar situations

Now seems like the right time for the Italian manager to give some of his usual starters a break. Up next are important games against Sevilla this weekend and Juventus in the Champions League. After Barcelona beat Getafe 6-0, Ancelotti will hope this is not a costly experiment in their hopes to win La Liga.
The manager claims to know how risky every game is
