With the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinals kicking off next week, Paramount+ is the go-to platform for soccer lovers in the USA. However, the streaming platform still has fans covered this weekend with an array of exciting fixtures, mainly from Serie A.
AC Milan kick things off, with the Rossoneri's San Siro showdown vs. Leece being the first live match scheduled to be streamed this weekend on the Paramount Global platform. The Italian giants, who are second in the table, look to strengthen their grip on the no.2 spot but the focus on Saturday will be on the Derby della Capitale between Roma and Lazio, live at 12 p.m. ET.
The Giallorossi, who face rivals AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal live next Thursday on Paramount+, have been sensational since Daniele De Rossi succeeded Jose Mourinho as interim boss. Paulo Dybala and Co. are fifth in the table and while fourth-placed Bologna are not miles away, Roma are closely followed by Atalanta and city rivals Lazio in the race to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
Serie A's surprise package Bologna and the soon-to-be dethroned Italian champions Napoli will also be in action on Sunday but Juventus headline the live fixtures list on April 7. The Bianconeri, who are in third, six behind AC Milan but only two ahead of Bologna, face Vincenzo Italiano's Fiorentina live at 2:45 p.m. ET as Allegri's men aim to end their four-game winless run in the league.
Italian football is not the only thing on offer on this platform, with Paramount+ bringing several interesting Argentine Primera Division showdowns to the U.S. screens. Newell's Old Boys host Argentina powerhouse Boca Juniors on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET, which is one of two standout fixtures.
River Plate, meanwhile, will have to wait till 8 p.m. ET on Sunday before taking to the pitch, with Los Millonarios taking on Rosario Central with the simple aim of picking up the three points and climbing up the table in Group A.
