Sporting and Famalicao are the surprising leaders of the competition, with Porto coming in strong after their O Classico win against Benfica.

The 2019-20 Primeira Liga season is picking up a good pace, with Sporting and Famalicao entering Matchday 4 as the best teams in the competition.

Famalicao will kick off all activity on Saturday with their clash against Aves, Joao Pedro Sousa's men will try to keep up the good work after their first draw od the season last week, which saw them drop to second place. Hours later, Sporting will face Rio Ave in their bid to keep the top spot and their unbeaten streak intact.

On Sunday, Porto will try to build uo on their 2-0 win against Benfica when they host Vitoria Guimaraes. Later that day, Benfica will face Braga, in what should be one of the most competitive games of Matchday 4.

Team news - Who's in, who's out?

Benfica will have to face this weekend's game without four confirmed absences, as Gabriel Pires, Gedson Fernandes, German Conti and Tyronne Ebuehi are not available due to injury.
Porto will not have Sergio Oliveira around. The holding midfielder is the only confirmed absence for Sergio Conceicao.
Primeira Liga leaders Sporting will face Rio Ave without Stefan Ristovski and Jovane Cabral. Rodrigo Battaglia has recovered from an injury, but his presence in this game is doubtful, to say the least.

Sporting took advantage of the game between Porto and Benfica last week to climb to the top of the table, and coach Marcel Keizer urged his players not to lay back against Rio Ave this weekend, especially because of their ball-handling skills.
