Live Soccer TV provides where and how to watch Bayern Munich's clash with AC Milan in the 2019 International Champions Cup.

Preview: Bayern vs AC Milan

Bayern endured, at least by their high standards, a rather disappointing season under new coach Niko Kovac. Although die Roten managed to hang on to the Bundesliga title and also won the DFB-Pokal, that has become pretty routine for the Bavarians who have dominated the German league for the past few seasons. However, even the title race, which has become a one-horse affair that's usually decided early on was a struggle and for once, Bayern actually had to work hard to stay ahead of the chasing pack in a battle that went down to the final matchday.

They were again frustrated in the Champions League as they were dumped out by Liverpool in the round of 16 and will hope to turn their fortunes around in the 2019/2020 season. That being said, they did do much better than upcoming opponents AC Milan, who have been in free-fall for well over a decade. The Rossoneri failed to even qualify for the Champions League once again after missing out on a top four spot, were dumped out early of the Europa League group stages, bowed out of the Coppa Italia, and were no where near being contenders for the Scudetto.

Gennaro Gattuso was the latest man to be sacked as the managerial merry-go-round continues and now former Sampdoria man Marco Giampaolo's the man in the hot seat as Milan desperately try to rebuild once again. They'll have to make do without European football, however, as they're out of the Europa League due to FFP violations.

Both teams will be eager to get up and running here, despite this just being a friendly. For Milan, this will be their second game after drawing 1-1 with lower-tier Italian side Novara, while Bayern have tested themselves against higher quality opponents in the form of Arsenal and Real Madrid. Die Roten ended up losing 2-1 to the Gunners, but recovered well to earn a deserved 3-1 win over the Spanish side.

Team news: Bayern vs AC Milan

Bayern: Veteran defender Jerome Boateng has reportedly left the team due to personal problems and will be returning to Europe. Meanwhile, new record defensive signing Lucas Hernandez is still continuing his recovery from knee surgery.

AC Milan: Mattia Caldara is still out due to a cruciate injury, whilst Ivan Strinic is dealing with an ankle issue. Franck Kessié has been given an extended holiday after featuring for the Ivory Coast at this summer's AFCON tournament, and despite traveling with the group, long-term absentee Giacomo Bonaventura - who missed pretty much of all of last season - isn't expected to feature here.
