Romelu Lukaku, who is doing extremely well at Man United right, risked enduring the wrath of Red Devils supporters by trolling Cristiano Ronaldo – an iconic player who remains dear to their hearts.
The Belgian ace left a comment on a recent post by the four-time Ballon d’Or winner on Instagram. The Real Madrid forward, who lost his CAS appeal against his five-match ban for pushing a referee, vented his frustration on social media.
Cristiano wrote on Instagram: “One more incomprehensible decision. From injustice to injustice, they will never overthrow me.
"And as always I will come back stronger. Thank you to all who have supported me."
Lukaku commented on this post: “Messi is better, mate.” Backlash followed, as many on Instagram slammed the Belgian ace for his remarks.
But could it have been someone else who made this comment? Possibly so. It appears that Lukaku’s account was hacked. Tons of pictures of epmuusic flooded his account, with the snapchat of a “Matt Walker” also featuring on his page.
Those images have been deleted and his account has been restored to its old self. However, he has not confirmed the hacking and his comment on Cristiano’s post remains untouched.
This comes shortly after Barcelona’s social media accounts were hacked. Di Maria was announced as a new signing during the hacking, as the Blaugrana’s struggle to sign players continue.
