A controversial statement by Mundo Deportivo may cause two La Liga sides to fight in courts, as Los Blaugranas will exercise legal action against Málaga.
The reason? A tweet published by Sheik Abdullah Al-Thani, Málaga's owner, who labelled Los Blaugranas as "Catalunya's scum" following reports by Mundo Deportivo which hinted Los Boquerones would drop the game against Real Madrid to help Los Blancos win the league.
One fan asked the Sheik on Twitter to force his club to beat Real Madrid, and while he agreed that the blue and white side should beat their visitors during the last round, that shouldn't be a cause for Barcelona to win the title.
"With God's help, we'll be able to beat them. But the scum of Catalunya won't get a whiff of the league title after their lies about our coach Michel"

The Sheik's reaction was caused by an article by Mundo Deportivo, which claimed that Michel, one of Real Madrid's most laureated players in history, was ready to order his team to lose if that meant Los Blancos could win the title. Among the thousand reactions his tweet gathered, Barcelona's legal department revealed that the club will launch a complaint to the Spanish Anti-Violence Committee.
"The club would like to express its rejection and indignation regarding the content of the tweet. These actions violate the principles of fair play, ethics, and legality that govern our sport," Barcelona's press release reads.
Málaga and Real Madrid face each other on May 21, with La Liga still to be played for. On the same day, Barcelona will host Eibar at Camp Nou. Both games could be played at the same time if Los Blancos and Los Culés are still fighting to win the league title.
