Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has provided the latest update on wantaway striker Diego Costa ahead of the club's Premier League clash with Hull City. The Spaniard missed last weekend's game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium after being involved in a training ground row with Antonio Conte and the club's fitness coach and has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League.

But it appears that the ex-Atletico Madrid forward has finally settled his row with the club and had resumed training with the first team. Initially, he was believed to have been training with the U23 side. But speaking ahead of their clash with the Tigers, the Italian manager played down the exit rumors sorrounding the player. He said:
“He trained with a fitness coach, not alone. Usually every week I have a chat with my players. This week I had different chats with my players. I think the player wants to stay at Chelsea. He is happy to play with us.
“This idea [China] is far from his mind. I don’t see any problem with him.”
The 28-year-old is the Premier League's joint top goal scorer with 14 goals this season, same as Man United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez. He recently posted the following picture on Instragram to confirm that he had resumed training with the Blues.
