In terms of personnel, Asamoah Gyan has reportedly recovered from an injury to link-up again with the squad, but both Kwadwo Asamoah and Andre Dede Ayew will not be able to feature.

Meanwhile, Uganda, who have been under the tutelage of Serbian tactician Milutin Sredojević since 2013, have qualified for their first AFCON tournament in nearly four decades. The last time the Cranes featured in the continental competition was in 1978, during which they finished in second place.
Defender Denis Iguma returns from suspension, and ciould potentially replace Nicholas Wadada for this fixture.
