In what is a befitting end to his title-winning 2015/16 campaign, Leicester City star Jamie Vardy has been awarded this season’s BPL Player of the Season award.
The English forward’s excellent form in front of goal this term helped The Foxes beat the odds and seal an unprecedented English Premier League title, remarkably beating the likes of Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, and Chelsea to the crown.

Heading to Stamford Bridge on Sunday for the final match of the season, the Three Lions international boasts an impressive tally of 24 goals – with a game to spare – having recently returned from a suspension to net a brace in the 3-1 win over Everton.
The 29-year-old joins team-mate Riyad Mahrez as one of many Leicester aces to collect individual accolades after winning the league, as the Algerian international scooped up the PFA Player of the Year award, becoming the first African player to win the prize.
Destined to be named in England’s Euro 2016 squad, Vardy will return next season to the King Power Stadium to help the club defend their titles, having squashed claims that he interested in a move to Europe’s elite.
