Eden Hazard is underperforming and unhappy at Chelsea this season.
Although some point to Jose Mourinho comparing the Belgian ace with Cristiano Ronaldo as the root cause of his demise, it remains unknown why the player is struggling to reach the heights that saw him win last season’s PFA Player of the Year award.
One thing that in known is the repercussion of his below-par display: the Special One hanging the former Lille star out to dry and criticizing him publicly.

The player has now reportedly grown tired of the Special One’s antics, and is now ready to quit the Blues having fallen out with the Portuguese tactician.
Real Madrid are rumored favorites to land the 24-year-old. However, the Daily Mail report that Los Blancos may have to fork out a world-record fee in order to land the Belgian ace’s services.
Hazard is priority number one at Los Blancos, with the Liga BBVA giants ready to pull out all the stops in order to make him their latest Galacticos. Fear is, however, that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will demand a fee in excess of the £86m Real Madrid spent for Gareth Bale in 2013.
Having put pen to paper on a five-year deal earlier this deal, Chelsea will be in no hurry to cash in on their star man, unless a worthwhile offer is tabled, though Abramovich is expected to put up a fight in order to keep Eden at Stamford Bridge.
The report claims that the player will not “aggressively force” a move, yet many factors could determine his future with the London giants.
One, of course, is whether the club can secure Champions League season next season, with the club currently hovering just four points adrift from the relegation zone.
Another could be whether Chelsea decide to keep Mourinho on as manager, with previous reports insisting that Hazard will leave should the Special One remain.
Lastly, a key factor in Hazard’s future will be whether Florentino Perez will be willing to sanction a mega-million move for the player. If yes, Cristiano Ronaldo could be sold to either PSG or Man United in order to raise funds.
