Borussia Dortmund started off their Bundesliga season in a much different fashion than last year. The team led by Thomas Tuchel made it look easy against Borussia Moenchengladbach, and with three goals during the first half of the match, the yellow-and-black side won its first three points of the season.
Marco Reus, who is the most influential player in the team, led the way with the first goal of the season after 15 minutes, followed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's header to make it 2-0. Aubameyang made his presence felt as he handed an assist to Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Finally, the Armenian midfielder scored the fourth and final goal of the evening after the break.
Reus' performance during the game earned praises from fans and experts, who are following closely his performances after he signed a contract extension with Dortmund. In fact, his passing skills were superb during the game, helping his team to reach a much deserved win. This was his eighth consecutive Bundesliga match with at least one goal.
