The same fixture last season saw Eusebio Di Francesco's men crushed 4-0 and the league leaders have out-scored their opponents by eight to two. However, overally in their sophomore term in Italian football's top flight, the Neroverdi have done much better so far that their debut season, in which they barely escaped the drop by finishing in 17th place.
In terms of overall form, the visitors have not won a match since successfully exacting revenge on Inter by defeating the Nerazzurri 3-1 back on February 1st. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri were held to a draw with a 10-man Roma in a match that had they won would have effectively killed off the Giallorossi's title ambitions for this season.
La Vecchia Signora will still be smarting following their defeat on Thursday, which ended a 47 match unbeaten run in all competitions at Juventus Stadium. And despite still not having Andrea Pirlo due to injury, Allegri's men are by far the favourites to get back to winning ways as they continue on their quest to retain their Scudetto crown.
