The Italian manager revealed his star striker has not been feeling well lately, making him unavailable to start against Atletico on Wednesday.

After yesterday's defeat against town-rivals Atletico, Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed Cristiano Ronaldo's absence could have been motivated by an injury. The Italian manager answered questions about the Portuguese player's presence on the bench, since his decision not to start him generated controversy among fans and experts.

"Cristiano was a little bit tired and he might have suffered during the match,"Real Madrid's boss answered when asked about the issue.

But despite Ancelotti's claims, Cristiano Ronaldo was not comfortable on the bench, even getting into an argument with a camera man that kept on filming him while talking to one of his team-mates.

Maybe because he was desperate to help his team, Ronaldo seemed to be uneasy during his 63 minutes as a substitute, as this images depict.

Real Madrid will have to win by three goals next Thursday against Atletico if they want to re-validate their Copa del Rey title.
