Earlier this week, reports began to circulate that Fernando Torres was finally nearing an exit from Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old Spaniard has endured a miserable time while with Chelsea, with his conversion rate nothing to be proud of since arriving at his club from Liverpool in a £50 million deal.
However, despite Jose Mourinho publicly stating that he wanted the striker to stay, his agent is singing a whole new tune all together.
Italian reports claim that Torres's representative had a meeting with Milan's top management, and that the player is keen on making a switch to Serie A, with a two-year offer being on the table.
Meanwhile, in England, the situation appears a lot more complicated, especially following Diego Costa's recent hamstring injury. Nonetheless, all signs point to the player and his agent being keen to force through a move away from the Premier League giants.
As per Metro, his agent Antonio Sanz stated, "‘The meeting has been positive. Torres at Milan is a possibility...but we will take time to reflect before giving an answer."
With the transfer window set to shut in a few days, it appears to be increasingly doubtful that El Nino will still be in a Blues shirt come September.
