The BBC holds free-to-air Premier League highlights rights in the United Kingdom.
The current highlights deal between the Premier League and the BBC, which runs until the end of the 2028-29 season, involves the broadcaster showing two highlights shows every week.

The BBC holds the rights to show highlights from the Scottish Premiership after agreeing a new deal with the SPFL in 2023 until the end of the 2028-29 season.
The primary highlights show, which is called Sportscene, is broadcast for free on BBC Scotland each weekend with two episodes typically airing - one on Saturday night and one on Sunday night.

BBC Radio 5 Live is a radio station that operates in the United Kingdom. It was launched back in 1990 as Radio 5 before it was rebranded as BBC Radio 5 Live in 1994.The station broadcasts a wide range of programming, including news bulletins and phone-ins, but its primary focus is on sport.
Over the years, it has held the radio rights to the biggest sporting events involving British athletes and/or teams. In terms of football, this has included the Premier League, Champions League, European Championship and World Cup.
As part of their coverage, the BBC provides live event commentary, exclusive interviews and analysis from pundits.
BBC Radio 5 Live can be listened to on analogue radio via 693 or 909 kHz and via Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). The station can also be listened to through the BBC Sounds app, which can be downloaded for free onto smartphones, tablets and other compatible iOS and Android devices.
