Can the Merseyside Reds recapture the top spot in the EPL at Arsenal’s expense? Watch Swansea City vs Liverpool live on TV or follow it on radio on September 16, 2013.

Liverpool have not scored in any of their last two match away to Swansea City.Preview: Liverpool hoping to score and win on Swansea's turf

Liverpool fans have yet to mourn the absence of suspended striker Luis Suarez since Daniel Sturridge has been a true revelation for the club this season. The England international, who was voted by the fans as the ‘August Player of the Month’, is not the only threat for oppositions.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and defender Kolo Toure have also turned into key players for the Merseyside Reds. In fact, Brendan Rodgers can be proud of his team’s defence which is yet to concede in the English Premier League.

Swansea lost to Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in August but bounced back with a 2-0 win away to West Bromwich Albion on the first day of September. Fifteen days later, the challenge that awaits the Swans is huge but exciting.

Looking at previous matchups, it might be hard to predict the outcome of tonight’s fixture. Swansea have proven to be very tricky opponents for Liverpool. The latter have failed to score against the Capital One Cup champions in the last two meetings at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City will be hoping to go clear of the relegation zone this Monday while Liverpool eye a move back to the top of the English Premier League table. A repeat of February’s 5-0 win over the Swans would see Brendan Rodgers and his men maintain their perfect record this season.

Swansea City’s probable starting XI: Vorm; Davies, Williams, Chico, Rangel; Shelvey, Canas, Routledge, Hernandez; Michu, Bony

Liverpool’s probable starting XI: Mignolet; Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique; Leiva, Gerrard, Henderson, Aspas, Coutinho; Sturridge
