What are this midweek's must-watch games?
PSV vs. Arsenal live this Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. ET on Paramount+, TUDN USA, UniMas, ViX, and Univision NOW
Premier League giants Arsenal wrap up their UEFA Champions League group-stage campaign with an early kick-off, visiting PSV at 12:45 p.m. ET in what should be an interesting game. Both teams have already secured progression to the round of 16, with the Gunners winning the group while the Dutch giants have secured a second-placed finish. As a result, one, if not both sides, will likely make several rotations for this showdown. Do not miss the action.
Manchester United vs. Bayern live this Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET on Paramount+, TUDN USA, Univision USA, ViX, and Univision NOW
All eyes will be on Old Trafford as Manchester United host Bayern Munich in a do-or-die showdown for the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag's side are currently bottom of the table, meaning anything but a win over Tuchel's crew will result in a group-stage exit. Furthermore, a win might not even suffice as Rashford and Co. will need Galatasaray and Copenhagen to play out a draw on top of that to qualify. However, beating the German giants is a difficult hill to overcome on its own, which means Manchester United will be in for a rough ride this midweek.
Dortmund vs. PSG live this Wednesday at 3 p.m ET on Paramount+, TUDN USA, Univision USA, ViX, and Univision NOW
This is one of two mouth-watering fixtures in this group as Dortmund host PSG in their final group-stage fixture. The German giants have qualified for the round of 16 but they are yet to win the group. A point would suffice but standing in their way is a PSG side desperate for the three points. Mbappe and Co. have not yet secured progression and a win at the Signal Iduna Park would do just that.
Newcastle vs. Milan live this Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and ViX
From one club fighting for their lives to two clubs battling to avoid elimination. Group F's other fixture sees Newcastle and Milan lock horns as both teams need a win to remain alive. Furthermore, on top of a win, the Magpies will need PSG to draw while the Rossoneri have to triumph at St. James' Park and hope Mbappe and Co. are beaten in Germany. Catch the action live on Paramount+ and ViX.
Inter vs. Real Sociedad live this Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET on Paramount+, ViX, and CBS Sports Network
And the final UEFA Champions League game — but not the final game on our list — is Real Sociedad's trip to Inter. Both teams are tied on 11 points at the top of Group D, meaning the winner of this tie will also win the group. The last time these two sides met, they played out a one-all draw, but the Nerazzurri were fortunate to come away with a point. However, the Italian giants now have the home advantage and will look to remain unbeaten in Europe.
Tigres UANL vs. Club America live this Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on TUDN and Univision
The Liga MX Apertura final is here! Tigres UANL, who overcame Pumas UNAM in the penultimate stage, host Mexico's most successful team in the first leg of this highly-anticipated showdown. The Eagles, unlike the hosts, do not enter this showdown unbeaten, having lost 2-0 to San Luis in the second leg of their semifinal tie. However, their 5-0 victory in the first leg did the job. Meanwhile, Los Tigres won the Clausura 2023 final and will aim to make it back-to-back victories.
What to watch in women's football: December 12 to December 13
FA Women's League Cup
This midweek sees the return of the FA Women's League Cup. Key games include two huge derby clashes, with a London Derby starring Tottenham and Arsenal, and a Merseyside derby featuring Everton and Liverpool. All ties will be taking place on Wednesday, December 13th.
UEFA Women's Champions League
Wednesday is quite a busy day as the UEFA Women's Champions League also resumes action. First up will be Rosengård, who are still seeking their first point, facing a tough test when they welcome reigning UWCL winners Barcelona in a game that will likely be more about damage control for the hosts. Another key match features Lyon facing Norwegian side Brann. Both teams are tied on six points, meaning this game could decide who takes control of Group B.

Salah reaches brilliant goalscoring milestones after inspiring Liverpool to 2-1 comeback win vs. Palace
The Egyptian ace had a hand in both goals in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Palace, scoring the equalizer in the 76th minute, albeit thanks to a deflection, less than a minute after Crystal Palace were reduced to 10 men. The attacker then assisted Harvey Elliott for the winner a minute into stoppage time, thus securing the three points.
However, it was Salah's goal that grabbed all the headlines, and for understandable reasons, as the North African sensation achieved two remarkable milestones with his equalizer at Selhurst Park.
First of all, this was the attacker's 150th goal in the Premier League, a feat no other African player has reached in England's beloved top flight. Furthermore, while nine players have scored more Premier League goals than the 31-year-old, he is the fifth quickest player in history to reach this figure, with only Alan Shearer, Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane, and Thierry Henry sitting ahead of him.
Man Utd ready to offer Jadon Sancho to Barcelona in swap deal for former Premier League attacker
Manchester United are ready to let Jadon Sancho go after his fallout with Erik ten Hag. However, not many expected the Red Devils to use the Englishman in a player-swap deal for a Barcelona attacker.
According to Spanish news outlet Sport, this is what the Premier League giants have in mind, and the player they want in return is Raphinha, the Brazilian winger who is yet to win over his critics in Catalonia.
The Selecao ace was signed for over $60M roughly a year ago amid excitement. However, in his debut campaign, he scored only seven goals and assisted another seven in La Liga. This season has also seen him displaced by highly-rated youngster Lamine Yamal, thus sparking questions over Raphinha's future.
Newcastle preparing final proposal to hire David De Gea this winter
The possibility of watching David De Gea back with a Premier League club is closer than ever, as recent reports state that the former Spanish international could be replacing Nick Pope at Newcastle this winter.
The English shot-stopper has come down with a shoulder injury that may keep him out of the pitch for the next five months, and with Newcastle possibly being involved in European football, the team's hierarchy seems determined to hire a goalie to boost their options under the sticks. With that in mind, De Gea seems in line to join the Magpies, where Martin Dubravka has taken over Pope with unsatisfying results.
Now, reports from Spain and from the Daily Mail state that Newcastle will be inclined to sign De Gea for the second half of the season, where the team will fight for a spot in next year's UEFA Champions League. The main thing to sort out will be the player's wage, something that got in the way between the shot-stopper and Manchester United.
Returning Leao boosts Milan's Champions League mission-impossible attempt
Rafael Leao returns for AC Milan's last desperate attempt to reach the Champions League knockouts, the seven-time European champions staring at early elimination ahead of their final Group F match at Newcastle on Wednesday.
Portugal attacker Leao has been out of action for the past month with a hamstring injury but Milan are confident their winger will be ready to start at St James' Park and repeat his mesmerizing display against Paris Saint-Germain from a month ago.
The 24-year-old is Milan's undoubted star man, the player who when on form is capable of turning a match in his side's favour but whose performances have been erratic in a troubled season for the Italian outfit.
One in five players at Women's World Cup suffer online abuse: study
One in five players at this year's Women's World Cup were targeted by online abuse, according to a study released Monday by FIFA and the FIFPRO global players body.
The findings emerged from an analysis of 5.1 million posts and comments relating to 697 players and coaches taking part in the tournament in Australia and New Zealand.
Football's world governing body FIFA said in a statement that 152 players received targeted "discriminatory, abusive or threatening messaging."
Nearly 50% of the verified online abuse was homophobic, sexual, or sexist in nature.
The analysis also found players at the Women's World Cup were 29% more likely to receive abuse compared to male players at last year's World Cup in Qatar.
Nigeria's Osimhen named African player of the year
Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen was named men's African player of the year on Monday during a ceremony organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Osimhen, who led Napoli to win the Italian League title last season, beat Paris Saint-Germain's Morocco right-back, Achraf Hakimi and Liverpool's Egypt winger, Mohamed Salah, to win the top award.
"It's a dream come true for me," Osimhen said.

Eight-game bans over AFC Champions League mass brawl
The Asian Football Confederation dished out multiple bans of up to eight games on Monday over a mass brawl between China's Zhejiang and Buriram United of Thailand in the Champions League. A total of seven players or members of staff from the two teams were punished, as were the clubs themselves, following the fracas at the final whistle of the game on November 29.
Punches and kicks were exchanged as the Champions League group match at Zhejiang's Huzhou Olympic Sports Center descended into violence at the final whistle of the home side's 3-2 win.
