Reaching the UEFA Champions League final will see Paris Saint-Germain trying to prove that the French top-flight is not a "farmers' league", and in order to do that, they will have to equal a feat only accomplished by Olympique Marseille in this competition.
PSG has joined Monaco, Saint-Etienne, Olympique Marseille, and Stade de Reims as the only French teams to reach the UEFA Champions Leaguen/European Champions Cup final. Nevertheless, the real deal has not been reaching the title clash, the big test will be to succeed where three of those clubs have failed.

They are looking to become just the nd French side to win the European Cup, after @OM_English, who lifted the trophy in 1992-93 pic.twitter.com/9DbcgPIGBG
PSG's feat may also serve to vindicate Ligue 1 in Europe, as teams from that league can also brag about Les Parisiens' accomplishment.
5 - Paris SG are the fifth different French side to reach the European Cup/Champions League final, with only England (8), Germany and Italy (both 6) having more unique finalists than France. Bonjour. #RBLPSG pic.twitter.com/T5fTlSvCrg

If Les Parisiens needed one more reason to celebrate this massive accomplishment, spending a big amount of money has paid off for the French club, ending their quest for their first-ever final in the competition.
110 - @PSG_English have reached their first ever European Cup/Champions League final; this was their 110th game in the competition - the most played by a side before reaching their first final, overtaking Arsenal's record of 90 between 1971-2006. Finally. #RBLPSG pic.twitter.com/vREUq2qYrX
