Matchday 2 in the UEFA Champions League's group stage continues on Wednesday with two teams that were named in the elite list of title contenders: Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona.

These teams were on both sides of the coin during Matchday one, as Tottenham lost their first game against Inter with a last-minute goal. Meanwhile, Barcelona reaped the benefits of Lionel Messi's hat-trick, which led Los Blaugranas to a comfortable 4-0 win against PSV.

Mauricio Pochettino's squad has been massively hit by injuries, which will give the Argentine tactician some headaches to put up a competitive squad. Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier and Mousa Dembelé are some of the team's injured players for this game.

The good news for the London-based club come as team captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been declared fit to play after recovering from an injury.

On the other side of the pitch, coach Ernesto Valverde will try to solve the team's current woes, which have seen Los Blaugranas without a win in their most recent three games. Added to that, the Spanish giants will have to deal with two absences: Samuel Umtiti (suspended) and Sergi Roberto (injured).
