A lot is riding on the final round in the Premier League. Chelsea travels to Newcastle in their last Premier League game of this season knowing they need a miracle to finish in the top four.

Currently, the last Champions League spot is held by Liverpool, who sits two points ahead of the Blues. The Reds’ superior goal difference also means they need to lose against Brighton for Conte’s men to stand a chance of leapfrogging them, as a draw at Anfield would not suffice.

The Blues will need to win their final game and, fortunately, they have received a huge injury boost. Thibaut Courtois will likely make his return after missing the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield due to a back problem.

The home side has their own selection worries. Loan signing Kenedy is not eligible to play as Chelsea is his parent club while Slimani is suspended for the final game. Ciaran Clark and Christian Atsu are both sidelined with knee injuries.
