The English Premier League is readying itself for the 2018/2019 season as its three relegated clubs (the third club is yet to be confirmed) will be replaced by three more from the Championship. The same applies to the EFL League One, whereas the EFL League Two takes four new entrants.
With the top two ranked clubs gaining an automatic qualification, the remaining four in each of the leagues have to battle in a playoff for the final spot. Below are all the teams involved in the playoffs in the respective leagues:
- EFL Championship Playoffs: Fulham, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Derby County.
- EFL League One Playoffs: Shrewsbury Town, Rotherham United, Scunthorpe United and Charlton Athletic.
- EFL League Two Playoffs: Exeter City, Notts County, Coventry City and Lincoln City.
Regarding the coverage on ESPN+, Charlton Athletic and Shrewsbury Town kicked off the semi-final round on Wednesday. The latter won the game by a goal to nil. Nevertheless, 11 more fixtures remain and they will as well be live on ESPN+. See below for the full playoff schedules:
