Jose Mourinho's derby against Arsene Wenger couldn't have arrived at a worst time for Manhester United, as the Red Devils will have to face the Gunners without three key players.
According to Mourinho, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini will miss Saturday's trip to Emirate Stadium, with Nemanja Matic being a serious doubt for the crucial tie.
Matic is a doubt. I hope he can but I cannot guarantee he is selected to go. Let's see the feeling before the match, let’s see the warm-up. I hope he can, I want to, he wants to, but I cannot guarantee and Fellaini is not travelling with the team," Mourinho stated in today's presser.
The Special One admitted that he's found it hard to keep his team concentrated on Saturday's game, especially with a UEFA Champions League match coming up.
"I tell my players to just think about the game. It’s just the game, it’s Arsenal, we don't think about how many points we are ahead of Arsenal and behind the leaders. It’s just Arsenal. It’s difficult enough for us to be focused on other things. Focus on this," the coach added.
The Red Devils are four points ahead of Saturday's rivals after 14 games. The real problem for Mourinho will be trying to avoid a similar outcome of his recent games againt Top six teams, where he's collected no wins since being appointed as Man United's boss.
