The Madrid Derby will take center-stage this weekend, with Barcelona trying to take advantage of any slip-ups when they visit Málaga.

With only a handful of teams having more games to play, eight matchdays lie in front of us in La Liga. This weekend, the Spanish top flight will give fans around the world some top-class football, where title contenders Real Madrid and Barcelona won't have the chance to take their foot off the gas even with their continental matches next week.

La Liga's Matchday 31 will begin this Friday, but the "main course" will come on Saturday, as one of the most heated rivalries in Spain will see Real Madrid and Atlético fight each other to earn bragging rights in the Spanish capital.

Speaking about that game, fans and experts have to expect a different match than the one that took place in November. Los Blancos dominated the opposition at Estadio Vicente Calderón, but Simeone's team has found its form in spectacular fashion, and they will surely put up a fight against the league leaders, who have been blessed with a bit of luck in some games to keep the top spot in the domestic tournament.

Later that day, Barcelona travels to the South of Spain, where Málaga will host them at La Rosaleda. Los Boquerones haven't shown their true style this season, but even if things are not going well for the blue-and-white side, they always find a way to complicate things for Los Blaugranas. Will this be the case on Saturday evening?
