The English striker had a disappointing performance on both ends of the pitch, scoring an own goal that would eventually eliminate his club.

You're only as good as your last game, goes that popular saying about footballers and coaches. Well, it seems to fit Harry Kane like a glove, since he managed to make Tottenham Hotspur's supporters forget about his  goal scoring heroics after tonight's performance against Gent.

The striker struggled all night long to make an impression in front of goal, and to make matters worse, he eventually caused more problems for his team, as he cancelled Christian Eriksen's opener with a baffling own goal.

Fans didn't waste anytime trolling Kane for his poor performance, considering that his own goal forced Spurs to score two more times if they wanted to make it to the next stage of the Europa League. Eventually, Gent would go on to score yet another goal, resulting in a 2-2 draw that saw the English side embarrass themselves in front of their supporters.
