Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has taken his football punditry to a whole new level. The Frenchman has now predicted the club Alexis Sanchez could join if he decides to part ways with the gunners.
The North London club is burning the midnight oil to ensure Sanchez, and his Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil, sign new deals at the club. But the club's tight budget is the main issue of concern as the key duo are demanding for increased wages.
When asked if the Chilean would sign a new deal with the gunners, Henry told Sky Sports [Via Daily Mirror]:
''I want him to sign, everybody wants him to sign.
''That’s a tricky one for the club. That’s why you have guys there to be able to deal with that.
''But, as an Arsenal fan, I want Alexis Sanchez to stay for life because he is the future of the club. Same with Mesut Ozil.''
But the 39-year-old also admitted that if Sanchez decides to leave, he could join his national teammate Arturo Vidal at Bayern Munich. He added:
''If he ever leaves then you would think the likes of Bayern are going to come, Paris Saint-Germain
''Maybe joining his friend Vidal at Bayern Munich so we’ll see. But stay… don’t listen to anyone, find a way, stay!''
Sanchez joined Arsenal in 2014 from La Liga giants Barcelona. He has scored 58 goals for the North Londoners in 121 appearances in all competitions. He has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs, including PSG, Chelsea, Man City and most-recently, Juventus over the summer.
