It was just yet another normal day for Diego Costa as Spain faced Italy in their World Cup qualifier.

Diego Costa is back at it again, but this time round, not in the Premier League. The Spaniard was on the spotlight for his nasty slap during Spain’s World Cup qualifier against Italy in Turin.

The two sides were tied to a goalless draw in the first-half as the Chelsea forward struggled to find the back of the net. And as frustration continued to creep in, he was caught on camera slapping Leonardo Bonucci’s face in the usual Costa-fashion as the two players tussled for the ball. The incident irked football fans on Twitter, as some believed that he should have been shown a straight red card rather than the yellow he received.
