Joe Hart’s long and undisputed spell in between the sticks at Manchester City has finally reached its end, as the player’s agent revealed that the English goalkeeper has reached a deal with Torino.
The arrival of new manager Pep Guardiola marked the end of the Three Lions custodian days at the Etihad, having been benched in the club’s first three games in favor of Willy Caballero.
Guardiola then went out and signed Claudio Bravo from Barcelona, an undoubted top-notch goalie who is destined to be installed as first-choice custodian at Manchester City, leaving Hart as third-choice.
Hart’s agent confirmed the 29-year-old’s exit, revealing to Tuttosport (as per the Sun) that the player will be making the switch to the Serie A: “Yes, Joe Hart will play at Torino. It’s done.
“He has said yes to the club and now Manchester City have given the OK. It’s all true, it’s certain.”
Hart’s destination will be Torino after the club agreed a season-long loan. The Man City ace left the Citizens on Monday night and will undergo his medical in Italy.
The goalkeeper will reportedly earn £120,000 per week at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino having snubbed interest from fellow English Premier League side Sunderland.
