Jurgen Klopp’s men come into this fixture having won four of their last six pre-season friendly matches, and lost two. They beat Fleetwood Town 5-0, Wigan 2-0, Huddersfield 2-0, and then lost to Chelsea by a solitary goal. They then bounced back to beat Serie A giants AC Milan 2-0, but lost 2-1 to AS Roma.
On the other hand, Barcelona have won all their last six fixtures, a run that dates back to their La Liga match against Real Betis. The Spaniards have only played two club friendlies, which were against Celtic and English champions Leicester City. This will be the third pre-season fixture for Luis Enrique’s men ahead of their 2016/17 league campaign.

Mascherano on the other hand established himself as a regular starter at Liverpool between 2007 and 2010. He made 139 appearances in all competitions for the Reds and scored two goals.
Tactically speaking, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp goes head to head with the experienced Luis Enrique. The German tactician is yet to win a trophy with the Reds but Luis Enrique boasts of great success with Los Blaugrana, having won the Champions League, La Liga, Club World Cup and Copa del Rey with the Catalan club.
