As both teams prepared to start the semi-final clash, a young man made his way into the pitch and even managed to appear in the team's Starting XI photo. He attempted to take a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo, who had a laugh with the teenager and escorted him out of the pitch.
During the Round of 16 game against Croatia, a pitch invader tried to hug Cristiano Ronaldo during extra time, but the tournament's security protected the Portuguese ace, making the fan's attempt futile.
