Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo gives a brilliant assist to Nani, and then scores an outstanding goal himself.

Portugal has been quite the disappointment in Euro 2016, failing to bag any victories thus far. Their frustrating performances continued against Hungary in their final Group F match with midfielder Zoltan Gera netting a stunner to give his team the lead in the first half. However, that did not stop Fernando Santos' men from giving up.

In the 41st minute, captain Cristiano Ronaldo made a stunning pass to teammate Nani, who equalized the scoreline right before the first half came to an end. The Real Madrid striker had the chance to shoot himself but instead picked out Nani's run with a sumptuous pass that completely wrecked three Hungarian defenders. Nani then finished the job with a low shot inside Kiraly’s near post.

However, the second half did not start well for Portugal, as Hungary quickly took the lead with a free kick goal. Yet, Ronaldo stepped up to the plate, netting an impressive backheel goal in the 49th minute.

Fans took Twitter to react to Ronaldo's brilliant pass and goal:
