Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that the Gunners are still gunning for the Premier League title despite their recent string of poor results.
The Arsenal boss was speaking with reporters during a pre-match press conference. The North Londoners face on-form Everton at Goodison Park, a fixture than could make or break their title credentials. After facing the attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez in their Champions League exit on Wednesday at the Nou Camp, Wenger’s men now come face to face with the threat of Lomelu Lukaku, who has been scoring at will this season.
The Belgium international has now scored 119 club goals at the age of 22, and looks unstoppable. At his tender age, he can only be compared to global superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Suarez and Thierry Henry, who had fewer goals than the former Chelsea man at that age.
